How to start motorcycle road racing?

I am currently a motocross racer, but really i’ve always wanted to be a road racer. So now I am 16 years old and am considering a swap from dirt to the road.
However, how would I get involved with road racing?
What websites are there out there?
Championships etc.? Thanks a bunch
